Introducing Axel Sydon from Her Biker from Mars by Katie Douglas

Fierce warriors. Savage barbarians. Powerful warlords. All ready to claim their mates.

Alien Alphas is a collection of panty-melting sci-fi romances featuring dominant alien heroes, penned by New York TimesUSA Today, and international bestselling authors. This decadently naughty box set includes twenty-three ALL-NEW, stand-alone novellas full of hot alien alpha males, breathless passion, and reluctant surrender.

You’ll find plenty to keep you breathlessly turning the pages, but we thought it might be nice to get up close and personal with some of the sexy alien alphas by firing a few finely honed questions at them. To start with, Katie Douglas has been chatting to her hero, Alex Sydon from Her Biker from Mars.

Thank you for bringing Axel along to meet us. Take it away, Katie…

  1. Axel Sydon is a law unto himself, we know that. But what was the naughtiest thing you ever got up to when you were young?Well, there was this field of wheat… but I’m not sure I’m allowed to talk about that. 😉 Aside from that, skipping school, setting things on fire, fighting anyone bigger than me, raising hell… the usual. I grew up in the poorest part of Mars, so I learned to fight for everything I had and to take what I wanted.
  2. Apart from you, who is the meanest alien alpha in the box set?
I’ll let you know when they challenge me for alpha status.
  3. In your own words, tell us what your first impression was when you met Lita.I was curious as to how she got into my apartment, especially since she was naked, and hadn’t brought any clothes with her. Within the first few seconds, I knew I wanted to taste her, but I was suspicious of her motives, so I exercised restraint for the first time in my life.
  4. What is Lita’s worst habit?
She keeps nearly getting herself killed. I find that pretty grating. I’m trying to train her out of it by punishing her each time, but every so often she goes and does it again.
  5. … and what’s her best quality?
Just one? Everything about her. I love how determined she got when we were taking down the monsters who enslaved her in the first place. How brave she was when we rode a flying motorcycle from Mars to Earth. Her very spankable ass…
  6. If you could meet anyone in the galaxy dead or alive, who would it be and what would say to them?
Lita’s parents. I’d like to tell them their daughter is safe now. Shame she can’t remember anything about them. They’re probably worried.
  7. If your ship crashed on a deserted planet, what three items would you want to take with you?
My ship’s a spacefaring motorcycle, so as long as I had some fuel, an adjustable wrench and a big enough hammer I’m pretty sure I could get it straightened out again in no time and be back on Mars before the snowcone store closed for the day.
  8. You’ve travelled the galaxy for a good few years. What is the best planet you’ve ever been to and why do you like it?
Saturn’s most popular moon; Europa. They have the best food.
  9. Females or spaceships?
    They’re dependable.
  10. What’s the most embarrassing thing that ever happened to you?I used to have a pet snake. It was the eighties*. Everyone seemed to have snakes and lizards. Mine was an electric blue Welsh python called Bella. She kept escaping and eating the local robodogs, which was pretty embarrassing because these angry jumped-up Stepford wives would bang on the door and demand an explanation. It started getting expensive to keep replacing people’s robotic pets, so eventually I gave her to a buddy who had a rock band.
*The eighties in the twenty-second century were pretty similar to the 1980s, but with technology and longer lasting hair dye.
  11. Do you have any phobias or pet hates?
I hate when I can’t get my daily snowcone. I’m also allergic to people trying to kill me. It really makes me mad.
  12. Describe yourself in five words
    Real men are from Mars.
  13. If you had three wishes, what would they be?
I would wish for Lita to get her eye back, for my sister to ditch that small-time gangster she’s tangling with, and for the Mother Theresa Motorcycle Club to forget I ever existed.
  14. Did you have any serious relationships before Lita? If so, what happened? How did you break up?
Nah, before Lita, I was all about the one night stands. My MC protected a lot of working girls. They liked to show their gratitude, and they were pretty good at it. Not as good as her, though. I’d never go back to not having her in my life. She’s amazing.
